Friendly service and really good food - recommended.
It's very lovely pub to visit although I've only been in once a couple of years ago or so. I would definitely want to go back if I had the chance.
The best roast I've ever had. The taste, every taste of the food was DIVINE!! From the bread with humous to the roast pork with veg, roast potatoes, mash, carrot, red cabbage and cabbage and the sauce. I also had the sticky stuffing pudding with salted caramel, even taste was the best I've ever had. Great service from the time we walked in to the time we left.You've got to try it. We/I shall be BACK...Thank you to all the staff...We sat on the table in the picture, even before we ate. KEEP YOUR STANDARDS GOING!!!
Nice garden. They had Hop Head. So that was good. Good spot to start a walk, and finish it there too. :-) Or wait for people to come back from a walk...
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal here. All of the food was beautifully cooked and presented. Amazing ice cream! The prices were very reasonable too. - We'll definitely be back!
